The final performance is 2 p.m. today. Cost is $8-$10 at the door.

This week's senior spotlight is Alana Woodbury, with a grade-point average of 4.78.

She is taking advance-placement courses in calculus, government, biology and English.

She is involved in student leadership and a member of the National Honor Society.

She's served as the sophomore and senior class president, the Honor Code Committee and is a varsity tennis team member.

Alana has many options for her future collegiate goals. She is looking at a biology-related field, attending Dartmouth, Brigham Young University or the University of Utah.

We are all proud to have Alana as a Senator.

Congratulations go out to Pam White, who was selected as Carson High School's Classified Employee of the Year and Anna Province is Carson High School's Certified Employee of the Year.

• Erin Been is a health teacher at Carson High School.
