Arrest made on felony burglary charges, says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

FRIDAY

At 5:59 p.m., Tierra Ward, 26, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies conducted a business check at the Highway 50 Dotty’s Casino. Bail was set at $3,500.

At 9:55 p.m., Angela Bowman, 26, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary and alternative sentencing violation after deputies responded to reports of a woman taking items from the William Street Smith’s. Bail was set at $3,500.

At 10:46 p.m., a 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of bail conditions after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Curry and Second Streets. Bail was set at $3,000.


SATURDAY

At 12:14 a.m., a 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of license plate lamp required, driving without a valid license, no proof of insurance, possession of marijuana under 21, possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop at the Highway 50 FoodMax. Bail was set at $2,540.

At 4:42 p.m., Tarrah Kizer, 32, of Gardnerville, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop at the Carson Street Max Casino. Bail was set at $3,500.

At 4:59 p.m., Haywood Moye, 47, of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary, domestic battery-second offense, probation violation and violation of bail conditions after deputies responded to reports of a domestic battery near the 800 block of Travis Drive. Bail was set at $31,000.


SUNDAY

At 11:48 a.m., a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of basic speed, no valid driver’s license, open container and imitation of a controlled substance after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1600 block of Airport Road. Bail was set at $2,745.


MONDAY

At 12:08 a.m., a 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of disobedience to a traffic control device, DUI, possession of marijuana under 21 and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Saliman Road and Robinson Street. Bail was set at $2,650.

At 3:44 a.m., a 44-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies responded to reports to keep the peace near the 2700 block of Concord Drive. Bail was set at $1,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
