The net of $26.4 billion in total revenue is $10 billion more than pandemic-impacted 2021.
The speech will be followed by a week of hearings designed to give lawmakers a preview of what’s in the proposed budget.

The same fines that are in current criminal statutes remain in place, but traffic violations would no longer be criminal, but civil.
The proposed enhancements will be left up to Gov.-elect Joe Lombardo when he succeeds Sisolak in January.
He said the raises are intended in part to offset the increases in Public Employee Retirement System premiums.
